Notarize Recruiting 1,000 Signing Agents For Remote Notarizations.

new-RON-resized.jpg

To meet the sudden demand for remote online notarizations (RON) during the coronavirus emergency, technology provider Notarize is looking for eligible Notary Signing Agents commissioned in certain states to join their platform and provide online notarization services.

View Notarize's announcement here.

Notarize is seeking Signing Agents with the following qualifications:

  • Signing Agents must be certified and background screened by the NNA.
  • Currently, Notarize is looking for Signing Agents physically located in Florida, Nevada, Texas or Virginia. However, the company says they plan to add Notaries from other states with RON laws in the near future.

Applicants who are not already commissioned to perform remote notarizations will receive instructions how to do so from Notarize. For more information, please see instructions on the Notarize blog.

Ohio has a new requirement for training before renewing notary public certificates. Training is now out of question with Coronavirus stay home order. Some training is available online, but I don’t know if online training from private sector meets requirements for Ohio govt. certificate. I don’t think govt. agencies offer online training. Can you help me?

Not good. Notarize is trying to become the monopoly over everyone. Basically an "Uber Notary". You will most likely get contracted as a 1099 and paid part time at $15-20 an hour. Have higher standards you guys. It should be illegal for the 'Security Technology Companies' to be the provider them selves.

Currently the word is that there are kinks in RON NSA so lots of loan companies are not allowing RON signings. How can we find out which loan companies permit RON NSA and which do not? Also, many notaries are having to compete with each other on various platform to be the first to “press the button” to get a client for other notary services. Hiow do we navigate this situation?

However, please note that other providers may be used who meet OH statutory requirements, the Ohio SOS does not provide a list of approved vendors and the NNA does not endorse a specific provider.
