NNA 2015: Mortgage Industry Executives Discuss Major Changes For Signing Agents

Notary Signing Agents can learn about upcoming changes to the loan signing process at the NNA 2015 Conference.

Signing agents who are serious about handling signings properly won’t want to miss NNA 2015, which features a key industry panel that will analyze major changes to the loan signing process coming later this year. The panel, titled “Lenders Share How the New CFPB Closing Disclosure Affects Loan Signings” will occur on Monday, June 1, in Orlando, Florida.

2015 Loan Signings Panel

Hosted by NNA Vice President Chris Sturdivant, and featuring panelists from leading banks, mortgage firms and title companies, the panel will cover how the new TILA RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule (also known as “TRID”) impacts the closing process, and how Notaries will have to adjust their workflow to accommodate it.

Panelists will also share their perspectives on the evolving compliance requirements for NSAs and the new TRID regulations that take effect August 1, 2015. Panelists will include:

  • Ray Callahan, Chief Compliance Officer at Prospect Mortgage
  • Sally Freudenberg, VP of Strategy Consultant, Sales & Service Systems Office at Wells Fargo
  • Brian Hughes, CEO of Title Source

The panel is just one of the many workshops, networking opportunities and signature events at NNA’s 37th annual conference May 31 to June 3 at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek.

NNA 2015 Conference
