Do I need two separate Notary certificates for different signers?

I am notarizing a First Amendment to a Third Restatement of Trust, and there are two signers. Do I need two separate certificates of acknowledgment and two journal entries, or just one certificate with both signers listed and two journal entries?B D., California

If both signers appear before you at the same time, you may include both names on a single acknowledgment certificate. If they appear before you at separate times, you’ll need an acknowledgment certificate for both. However, since you are notarizing two signatures, you will need to make two separate journal entries.
