Can I perform a RON when traveling outside my state?

I have become a remote online Notary Public for Texas. If I travel outside of Texas, can I notarize documents online while physically located in another state? — M. T., Texas

No, the law requires that an online Notary must be physically in the state of Texas in order to perform remote online notarizations.

I have had hand surgery and my writing is not good yet, this includes my signature. Can I do a notary when my signature may not look the same do to surgery? Do I need to contact someone?This is just a temporary condition.
