NNA 2014: Key Highlights For Next Week

NNA-2014-Color-Logo.jpgNNA 2014 starts in three days, and we’re looking forward to seeing Notaries from across the nation in Phoenix. We wanted to share just a few of the exciting events that will be going on, including:

Networking with signing services and title companies. Several national firms, including First American Mortgage Services, Title Source and others will be on hand at 2014 to meet Notary signing agents. It’s a great opportunity for Notary signing agents to network with potential new business contacts.

Free Notary training for veterans. As a ‘thank you’ gesture for those who have served our country in the armed forces, the NNA will be offering complimentary Notary training to veterans at NNA 2014 Monday, June 2 — providing useful vocational training to help our veterans return to work in the civilian sector.

Tips to grow your business with content marketing and social media. Our keynote speaker, Marcus Sheridan, will be sharing simple techniques to grow your business and build your reputation with customers using social media during his speech Monday, June 2.

Workshops for new and experienced Notaries. NNA 2014 features workshops on a variety of topics ranging from new Notary laws, growing your business, dealing with issues during notarizations and much more. Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or advanced Notary, check out our list of workshops to see which are best suited to you.

Travel and sightseeing opportunities. Don’t forget the Grand Canyon tour following NNA 2014 on Thursday, June 5. There are also many sightseeing opportunities in the Phoenix area if you’d like to explore the city in your free time.

There’s still time to join us in Phoenix next week if you don’t want to miss the year’s biggest Notary event. But if you can’t make it, keep watching the Notary Bulletin and our Facebook page for the latest updates from NNA 2014.

David Thun is an Associate Editor at the National Notary Association.
