The certificate wording on a document is fine, but there is no line within the certificate for me to sign on. Can I still notarize the document? — D.S., MN
Yes, you can notarize the document. A required element of the notarization is your signature; however, the law does not indicate that a designated signature line is required. You can simply sign at the bottom of the certificate wording near your Notary seal.
