Get ready for a wide-ranging slate of valuable programs and exciting events in 2012 as the NNA embarks on its 55th Anniversary celebration — a time in which the Notary community reflects upon our decades of progress, and forges ahead with new resolve to strengthen the American Notary office.
Your January special edition of The National Notary — which arrives in the coming week — kicks off the year with a look at our “55 Years Of Change And Transformation,” along with important analysis of the increasing need for Notaries and employers to be trained in proven methods of protecting the public, and themselves, from growing legal risks.
But, as you have come to know from your NNA, our 55th Anniversary celebration isn’t solely about Notary issues. In fact, we couldn’t wait until January to get the festivities started, so in December we concluded our 2012 Conference sweepstakes, and announced our exciting 55th Anniversary Sweepstakes, which features 55 valuable weekly giveaways, culminating in a Visa gift card grand prize worth $550! Be sure to visit our Sweepstakes page and enter today!
One of the centerpieces of our celebration will be the “Notary Event of the Year” — the NNA’s 2012 Conference in San Diego. Themed“Service, Integrity, Trust – Working Together for 55 Years,” Notaries from across the nation will gain valuable training on how to succeed in their roles, avoid liability, mitigate risk, and protect the public. And don’t forget the fun and excitement that NNA Conferences are known for, especially the much anticipated announcements of the 2012 Notary of the Year and the March Fong Eu Achievement Award recipients.
That’s not all we have in store. Throughout the year we will reveal special announcements and programs, including the 2012 Notary Census — the nation’s most comprehensive report on the Notary population, demographics and industry intelligence. There will also be important efforts built around the Trusted Notary training program, theNotary Supervisor training program and the new and growing Member Advocate Program, for which we are still accepting applications from members in all states.
Stay tuned for more information and announcements throughout 2012, as we look forward to celebrating this milestone year with you in a big way!
