Who needs Notary Quick-Start Training?
Any Notary may benefit from Notary Quick-Start Training. It teaches new Notaries how to carry out their duties correctly. For Notary veterans, it can be a good refresher course.

You’ll learn the 5 steps to performing proper and lawful notarizations. These 5 steps will give you the skill and confidence to handle everyday notarizations — such as acknowledgments and jurats — with ease.

How long does the training last?
It lasts 20 minutes.
Is Notary Quick-Start Training the same as my state-required training?
No. Notary Quick-Start Training teaches you how to perform notarizations — the practical details of notarization. State-required training simply instructs what the law is. Notary Quick-Start Training is supplemental training based on recognized Notary standards of practice. Because most states do not require training to become a Notary, Notary Quick-Start Training is an excellent way to get started.
Will Notary Quick-Start Training fulfill my employer’s request for compliance training?
For many employers, yes. Many banks and financial institutions that have compliance training requirements have their Notary-employees take Notary Quick-Start Training.
Can I take the training from home?
Yes. The training is available anytime, anywhere you have internet access.
Do I have to be an NNA member to take the training?
No. The training is available to all Notaries.
I took NNA Notary Essentials training. How is this different?
NNA Notary Essentials is a longer course and is state-specific training, while Notary Quick-Start training is based on Notary standards of practice that apply in any state.

Yes. You have unlimited access to the training for 9 months.
Is there a quiz at the end of the training?
Yes. Ten questions follow the training for your self-review.
