Obtaining an Errors and Omissions (E&O) insurance policy is smart for mobile Notaries, but in some cases it’s essential. Many companies require the Notaries they contract with for signing assignments to maintain minimum levels of E&O insurance, and a great way to let potential clients know you are covered is to make sure it’s included on your SigningAgent.com profile.

Updating Errors and Omissions Insurance

 

If you purchased your E&O insurance from the NNA, the amount of your coverage and the policy’s expiration date will automatically appear on your NSA profile in SigningAgent.com. If you purchased your E&O insurance from another company, you can manually fill in the amount of coverage and expiration date, and upload your policy certificate as proof.

Hi - My profile is up to date with current dates showing for my certified and background screening status ...as well as my current E&O Insurance expiration date...however, I noticed my profile listing no longer displays the Certified Notary Signing Agent logo, why is that? What do I need to do to have that display again? I do not see any setting in my editable fields. Thanks!

Hello. If you obtained your E&O through the NNA and it is not showing, please contact our Customer Care team at 1-800-876-6827 or Services@NationalNotary.org to let them know your NNA insurance information is not showing up on your profile and ask for assistance. If you have an E&O policy from another provider, you can enter your information into your profile manually using the instructions at this link: https://www.nationalnotary.org/notary-bulletin/blog/2014/01/signingagent-profiles-updated-new-e-o-options
