Guam Raises Commission Application Fees

A bill raising the cost of applying for a Notary commission in Guam was signed into law November 25.

The bill, B-176-30, increases the cost to apply for a commission in the territory from $50 to $100. The bill also increases the cost of obtaining an apostille or certification of a Notary’s commission from $25 to $50. Guam Notaries are commissioned for a term of four years. Fees collected will go into a special fund used to pay for administrative and educational costs of Guam’s Notary Public program.
