Curriculum Content Developer
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, scheduling, developing and executing multiple types of marketing campaigns efficiently, on time, in budget and to a high degree of quality. The position will work across multiple marketing channels, and will coordinate activities and share critical information with various departments.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops content for training products, how-to books and references including live instruction, interactive online courses, webinars, video instruction, podcasts, books and other works.
  • Identifies product objectives and scope, creates outlines, researches and gathers subject matter information, and drafts, organizes and edits scripts, storyboards, manuscripts and presentation materials for publication.
  • Collaborates with staff and outsourced designers, developers, graphic designers and others to produce finished training products, how-to books, and references.
  • Interviews staff and outside subject-matter experts to gather knowledge, information and content; Reviews and edits the work of others for accuracy, consistency and effectiveness.
  • Organizes and prepares course curriculum, materials and application for state approval or certification as required.
  • Develops knowledge of U.S. Notary laws, rules and practices, and their practical applications and acts as Notary subject-matter expert in the development of education products.
  • Follows procedures for product development and review; Contributes to the maintenance of product-development archives.

Summary of Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience developing and authoring education and/or training materials.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in researching and drafting training content, manuscripts and presentation materials for publication.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills; Understanding of the functions and capabilities of learning development and learning management software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, communications, business administration, etc. is preferred.
  • A strong command of the English language, grammar and style.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, especially Word and PowerPoint.
