Interactive Conference Lab Provides Hands-On Tips For Increasing Business Through Social Media

The National Notary Association has added an innovative new interactive feature to its Conference 2012 program that will provide Notaries with hands-on social media experience and useful strategies that will help boost their business and income.

The Social Media Lab — which will be open to Conference 2012 attendees from Monday, June 4 through Wednesday, June 6— will feature personalized tutorials and provide lesser-known tips on how Notaries can utilize the primary social media platforms Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube to expand their business and networking opportunities.

Social media experts and NNA staff members will guide attendees through the major do’s and don’t’s of creating an engaging social media presence that will allow them to promote Notary services, network with industry colleagues, and integrate their small business marketing efforts. For Notaries who haven’t yet created accounts, NNA staff will assist them individually in launching their sites and will ensure that attendees leave the Lab with strategies they can begin to implement immediately.

Conference 2012 will also feature informative panels for novice and experienced social media users alike who are seeking new ways to maximize their business potential online:

  • Introduction to Social Media, Tues., June 5, 11:05 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
  • Social Media Tips & Tricks, Tues., June 5, 1:30 p.m. - 2:40 p.m.

For more information on the interactive Social Media Lab and other panel discussions, interactive workshops, and keynote speakers, check out the NNA’s Conference 2012 agenda.
