Pushes to lower costs and improve quality of care in the wake of the court decision will ensure that hiring of healthcare professionals remains strong, according to a post by Senior Vice President Andrew Chastain of Witt/Kieffer. Chastain said factors such as a push for more accountable healthcare, a growing aging population and a proliferation of new positions that didn’t previously exist in the healthcare field will all help keep hiring strong.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics previously projected that healthcare industry demand for receptionists, information clerks, secretaries and administrative assistants — all jobs where a Notary commission is often used— will grow between 13 to 21 percent over the next several years.
