Analysis:

Virginia SB 378 simply clarifies that existing Notaries may submit applications for reappointment as regular and electronic Notaries in person, by first-class mail, or online. If an application is submitted online, the online application must contain an electronic signature that complies with Virginia’s Uniform Electronic Transactions Act.
