Analysis

Laws raising Notary fees are always welcome and with enactment of Senate Bill 760 Virginia’s fees are now a more respectable $5 per notarial act. Seventeen states now allow Notaries to charge $5; only six jurisdictions have higher fees (PR, CA, FL, GU, MI, SD, TX).
