Analysis

In the District of Columbia, the statute provides that the Mayor of the District shall adjust from time to time the fees Notaries may charge. In 2016, the statute was amended to state that Notaries may charge $5 per notarial act. The regulation being reported in this New Law Update makes the change final in the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations.
