Analysis

Senate Bill 1327 is a revisor’s bill. In a revisor’s bill, technical, nonsubstantive changes are made to the statute. Sometimes words and punctuation errors are corrected and in others erroneous citations to other sections of the Hawaii Revised Statutes. In this case, the revisor simply numbered the various fees Notaries may charge for their services and removed a couple of commas in the statute. The bill did not change the fees in any way.
