New law requires additional recordkeeping and limits notarizations for real estate documents.

Ted Elrick is a Notary expert who has served as a Curriculum Developer for the National Notary Association for over six years. He has produced scores of new-law and state-required training courses as well as webinars and NNA Conference workshops. He is responsible for developing, editing and updating the NNA's state Notary Law Primers and, most recently, the U.S. Notary Law Primer. Ted earned his Bachelor's degree in Journalism from West Virginia University. His graduate work was completed at the American Film Institute.
