Purchase the NNA Training + Resources Signing Agent Package
The NNA Training + Resources Signing Agent package provides everything required to become certified, including:
- Background Screening: Required to meet mortgage industry standards.
- Training: Covers the entire loan signing process and best practices to follow.
- Exam: Tests your understanding of the loan and escrow process.
- Supplies: Helps you perform loan signings with reference books and prep sheets.

Complete the Training and Pass the Exam
Once you’ve purchased your NNA Training + Resources Signing Agent package, the NNA Training Center will email you access to your online training course and certification exam.
Training
Complete your online training to learn the loan signing process, how to explain key documents with confidence, avoid common mistakes, and protect borrower privacy.
Exam
Pass the certification exam with a score of 80% or higher to demonstrate your knowledge of the loan and escrow process and your role in signings.

Pass the Background Screening
Within 2 to 3 days of purchasing your NNA Training + Resources Signing Agent package, you’ll receive an email from Backgrounds Online with instructions on how to complete your screening.
Background Screening
The Background Screening checks federal, state, and county records, and follows the Signing Professionals Workgroup standards. Your screening is generally processed within 2 weeks, but complex records can take up to 30 days.
