  • 18 years of age
  • U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident; Must be resident of or maintain a principal place of business in a Tennessee county
  • Not have been convicted of bribery, larceny or certain other offenses unless restored to citizenship
  • No unpaid judgments to U.S. Government, State of Tennessee, or a Tennessee County; not have defaulted to Tennessee treasury
  • Not be a member of U.S. Armed Forces or Congress or hold office of profit or trust under any foreign power, other state or the U.S. Government
