Obtain Your State-Required Supplies and Complete Your Training

The NNA will provide everything you need to become a Notary in Oregon, including your official seal stamp, journal and supplies. Your state-required training is included with each package option.

Download your Oregon Notary Public application, then follow the instructions on the Oregon Secretary of State website.

Requirements to Become
an Oregon Notary

  • 18 years of age
  • Non-resident OK if employed in Oregon
  • Must read, write and understand English
  • Be of good moral character
  • No felony convictions or lesser offense incompatible with duties of Notaries in
    previous 10 years
  • Not had a Notary commission revoked in previous 10 years
