While these may be words to a popular song in the Broadway production, Dear Evan Hansen, these words also reflect how many hospital patients and long-term care residents have felt during our COVID pandemic. With strict visitor restrictions in place, many had little contact with those outside of the facility. So, what happens when a patient needs something notarized? What if that state does not have remote notarization laws in place? This workshop will examine how hospitals and healthcare entities have handled COVID restrictions and how Notaries can feel comfortable and safe going into a facility to notarize for patients during this time.
