As part of the National Notary Association's monitoring of the public health authorities assessment of COVID-19 and its impact on business and community practice, we have made the difficult decision to cancel NNA 2020 Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona.


Tonja Williams

Lead-Educational Advocate, Business Consultant LLC

Formerly, Tonja worked in (CPS) child protection services as a Certified Paralegal-Coordinator and Educational Advocate in the Illinois County Juvenile Court. During her tenure, she implemented various advocacy units: educational, training, transition and delinquency teams. Currently, she is a consultant: serving in a trainer and facilitator role as an Independent contractor for the private/corporate and higher-ed sectors. Tonja also holds a Master’s Degree.

In the recent season, she operates as an independent trainer for labor unions and colleges. She delivers job readiness, diverse-multicultural sensitivity, and skill-building curriculum. She also works as an Educator-Transition Specialist for diverse our young adults in the Special needs community at a local County Cooperative Site. She assisted in case management with services, provide vocational training and life coaching skills to prepare learners for independence with community-based support. She also helped with legal, mental health, and human service referrals are often necessary to ensure a successful transition for these students within eleven high school districts.

She uses a unique recipe of communicating, marketing, networking and researching that have always yielded her success. I am comfortable with interviewing, investigating and recruiting. I have personally ushered and mentored educators and notaries in the past year. I am honored to share my knowledge at this convention.
