Always something to learn
Even though I've been a Notary for 30 years, from going to the NNA Conference I learned so much more. One of the most important things I learned concerned identifying signers and now I make everybody show me their Driver's License, even if it's my boss. There's a misconception about what we do in the public world and the Conference was an eye opener. I'd recommend it for all Notaries and am planning to go to San Diego.![]()

I love the networking
Since I'm a Notary Signing Agent, I liked the sessions that were geared toward me and my business. I love the networking – you get to meet a lot of people from all over the country. Since the Conference, I've been in contact with them through phone calls, emails and Facebook. I've already got the 2012 Conference in San Diego on my calendar and I'm looking forward to it.![]()

I liked learning about the different avenues we can go down...
One of the things I liked most was the Conference workshops talked about the different avenues we can go down as a Notary, for instance notarizing certain documents in an adoption process. I also learned that care facilities and hospital settings are great opportunities to promote yourself as a Notary.![]()
