NNA Conference Returns To Orlando In 2015

Amid cheers and applause at the NNA 2014 Closing General Session yesterday, NNA President and CEO Tom Heymann announced that Orlando, Florida, will be the NNA 2015 Conference host city. This will mark the first time the Conference has been hosted in Florida since 2003.

NNA 2015 will take place at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek hotel. Keep watching for NNA 2015 announcements in upcoming issues of The National Notary and at NationalNotary.org/Bulletin.

I registered for the conference in May 2015, but there was no place for a guest. Can I bring my husband to the conference Welcome and Gala? If so, how can I add him to the registration? He will not attend the classes or workshops.

I like to plan my calendar well in advance. Will the 2015 agenda be similar to the 2014 agenda? Specifically, will the Welcome Reception be on Sunday evening; most of the workshops on Monday and Tuesday, the Gala Dinner on Tuesday evening, and the Closing General Session on Wednesday morning?

Each year I continue to be amazed at the NNA conference! The program is exciting, educational & appeases to all Notaries regardless of their level of expertise. Each one of the speakers are wonderful, the food was amazing, and the entire event flowed smoothly. I leave each conference feeling more inspired and uplifted!

Are we supposed to register for the various workshops beforehand or just walk in?

National Notary Association

04 May 2015

Hi Ellen. You don't need to register for workshops taking place during Conference; they are available for walk-in on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, we do have an optional Conference online schedule planner to help attendees here: https://www.eiseverywhere.com/ereg/modifyreg.php?eventid=90719. Once there, please enter your email address and reference number. If you have forgotten your reference number, you can have it emailed to you. Once inside, you will be taken to the agenda page. This page, will have all the workshops listed. Please select only one workshop per time slot. Just a reminder, using the workshop selections on the schedule planner does not guarantee you a seat for the workshop. Please note that if you choose to attend a pre-Conference workshop, you do have to pay an additional fee to attend those workshops. If you have signed up to attend any of our pre-Conference workshops, a seat at those workshops will be reserved for you. A list of pre-conference workshops can be found at the top of this page: http://www.nationalnotary.org/conference/schedule/workshops. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. We look forward to seeing you in Orlando!
