Free California Notary Training For U.S. Veterans During National Notary Association’s 2016 Conference

LOS ANGELES - April 27, 2016

As part of its longtime support of military veterans and its dedication to helping them transition to civilian life and careers, the National Notary Association (NNA) is once again offering free state-required Notary training to honorably discharged veterans. The full day of training and activities – valued at $400 – will take place during the NNA’s 38th annual Conference on Monday, June 6 at the Hyatt Regency Orange County, 11999 Harbor Blvd. Garden Grove, CA 92840.

Fully-funded by the National Notary Foundation (NNF), the complimentary package includes:

  • Admission to the NNA 2016 Conference opening general session commemorating the 72nd anniversary of D-Day featuring a panel of WWII veterans.
  • The California state-required 6-hour training, covering Notary laws and how to pass the exam.
  • Breakfast, lunch, dinner and self-parking at the hotel.
  • Online access to two valuable eLearning courses: Notary Essentials and Notary Signing Agent Certification.

Also on June 6, veterans who want to complete the remaining steps to become a California Notary will be able to take the state exam (fee required) and purchase supply packages at discounted rates.

Seating is limited to 30, so veterans are encouraged to register early. Additional program information is available at NationalNotary.org/conference/schedule/veterans and veterans can email questions to our customer service team at Veterans@NationalNotary.org.
