Obtain Your State-required Seal and Recommended Supplies

The NNA will provide everything you need to help complete your Oregon Notary renewal, including your official seal stamp and supplies. 

Complete Your Oregon Notary Application
Complete your Oregon Notary Public application and follow the instructions on the Secretary of State website.

Renew Your Oregon Notary Commission

The NNA will walk you through each step. To receive your official seal, email the Certificate of Authorization to as soon as you receive it from the state, along with your NNA ID and Order Number.

Requirements to Become
an Oregon Notary

  • 18 years of age
  • Non-resident OK if employed in Oregon
  • Must read, write and understand English
  • Be of good moral character
  • No felony convictions or lesser offense incompatible with duties of Notaries in
    previous 10 years
  • Not had a Notary commission revoked in previous 10 years
