NNA Webinar To Focus On Proper Use And Recording Of Credible Witnesses In Notarial Acts

As part of the new "Commonly Asked Questions" webinar series, the NNA will be hosting a 30-minute webinar on Monday, December 12 focusing on the proper use and recording of credible witnesses during a notarization. The webinar is free of charge and open to all Notaries.

The National Notary Association Hotline receives a large number of questions regarding the use of credible witnesses, including:

  • Under what circumstances should a credible witness be used?
  • What are the necessary qualifications of a credible witness?
  • What, exactly, are the responsibilities of a credible witness?
  • How should a credible witness be recorded in a notarial journal?

The webinar — which begins at 11 a.m. Pacific time — will feature 15 minutes of instruction by Susi Sivkov, who has taught Notary law classes and currently facilitates over 125 seminars a year in California, followed by a 15-minute question-and-answer segment designed to address the most commonly asked questions regarding the use of credible witnesses.

This event is open to all Notaries; register here to attend.
