Linking to NationalNotary.org Terms and Conditions

 

By linking to any page on NationalNotary.org, you hereby agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

  • Links may be text-based using the words: "National Notary Association," or "NationalNotary.org." Any text description accompanying the link must read:

    "The National Notary Association is the nation's professional Notary organization and serves the professional, educational, career and business needs of Notaries throughout the U.S. Since 1957, the NNA has helped Notaries to serve society responsibly and ethically."

  • Links may be to the home page or any other page of the public area of NationalNotary.org. Links may not be to any area of NationalNotary.org. where access is restricted to NNA members only, including the Member Community, NNA Notary Signing Agent Section and all other restricted-access areas.

  • By establishing a link to NationalNotary.org, you acknowledge and agree that, other than as set forth herein, all rights to the Licensed Marks, other NNA marks, the content appearing on NationalNotary.org and the design of NationalNotary.org belong to the NNA.

  • Frames may not be created around NationalNotary.org or other techniques used that alter in any way the visual presentation or appearance of NationalNotary.org.

  • You must not misrepresent your relationship with the NNA or present false or misleading impressions about the NNA. No links to NationalNotary.org may be used in a manner that implies or suggests that the NNA approves or endorses you or any individual or group, any organization or business, any Web site or any goods and services (in all cases, except as the NNA may have agreed separately in writing).

  • The NNA shall have no responsibility or liability for any content appearing within your website. You agree to indemnify and defend the NNA against all claims arising out of or based upon your website.

  • No links may appear within your website if any part of your site contains content or materials that may reasonably be interpreted as defamatory, libelous, obscene, pornographic, profane, deceptive, fraudulent, illegal or criminal, or which infringes, otherwise violates, or advocates the infringement or other violation of any third party rights.

  • No use of any NNA logo, mark, slogan, screen shot or copyrighted designs (collectively, "Brand Features") is permitted without prior written approval from the NNA.

  • The NNA reserves the right to amend these linking terms and conditions at any time. By continuing to link to NationalNotary.org, you agree to be bound to and abide by these linking terms and conditions, as well as other legal terms of use and conditions on NationalNotary.org, as amended from time to time. All terms and conditions related to the use of NationalNotary.org will be construed according to the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
