Refund Policy — In accordance with California Code of Regulations § 20800.9, a full refund will be given
for California state-required courses under the following circumstances:
- If an instructor fails to appear at the scheduled time, date or place of the approved course of study
- If an approved course of study is delayed in starting more than 15 minutes after the scheduled time;
the Notary Public applicant immediately informs the provider of his or her request for a refund; and
the Notary Public applicant leaves the approved course of study before it starts
- If the provider does not hold a current Certificate of Approval from the Secretary of State for the
course of study
