The National Notary Association's Annual Conference Returns To Southern California In 2012

Los Angeles, California - August 10, 2011

‘Notary Event Of The Year’ To Commence in Host City of San Diego June 3 through 6

LOS ANGELES, August 10, 2011 -- The National Notary Association, the leader in best practices, training, and advocacy for the nation’s 4.8 million Notaries, has announced that its 34th annual Conference will be returning to Southern California in 2012 as part of the organization’s 55th anniversary celebration.

The “Notary Event of the Year” will be held between Sunday, June 3 and Wednesday, June 6 at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina, located central to many of the city’s premier destinations including Harbor Island, Old Town, Balboa Park, downtown San Diego and the island of Coronado.

Designed for self-employed Notaries, Notary employees, and employers whose risk managers, administrators, and compliance officers are responsible for their Notary-related issues and personnel, the NNA’s Annual Conference features hands-on workshops and open-forum discussions from experts across the country, engaging keynote sessions, and networking opportunities spanning multiple professions—all designed to help attendees succeed in their roles, avoid liability, mitigate risk, and protect the public.

“For 33 years, the National Notary Association’s Annual Conference has provided attendees with the valuable opportunity to come together with the Notary community, learn, network and advance their careers,” said National Notary Association Chief Executive Officer Marc Reiser. “The Notary landscape is constantly changing and — with more attention being placed on Notaries and notarization today — it’s vital to be prepared for what’s ahead.”
