Application and Bond Filing Procedures
Call the NNA at 1-800-US NOTARY (1-800-876-6827) if you have any questions during this process.
Confirm with your County Clerk that it accepts out-of-State Notary Bonds and place a separate order for a bond.*
Submit your Notary Public Application to the State, enclosing your State application fees.
Receive your State-issued Notice of Appointment (within 4 to 6 weeks).
Forward a COPY of your Notice of Appointment to the NNA for processing.
We will mail your activated Notary Bond to you via First Class mail.
File your Notary Bond with the County Clerk.
