Submit your Notary Public Application to the State, enclosing your State application fees.
Pass the State-required Notary Exam (given following approval of your Application).
Receive your State-issued Letter of Passing or Renewal Letter (within 4 to 6 weeks).
Forward a COPY of your Letter of Passing or Renewal Letter to the NNA for processing.
We will mail your activated Notary Bond to you via First Class mail.
File your Notary Bond with the Clerk of Circuit Court.

The Notary's official seal must include: The name of the Notary, the Notary's commission number and the words "Notary Public and "State of Hawaii."
The seal must be circular, not over 2 inches in diameter, and have a "serrated or milled edge border." The seal may still be either an inking stamp or an embosser. Rectangular seals are no longer allowed.
