    Eligibility
    Minimum Age: 18 years of age
    Minimum Residency: Not required
    Other Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the U.S.; must establish residency for state taxes; no felony conviction; must not have had a Notary commission revoked within the previous four years.
     

    Application and Bond Filing Procedures
    Call the NNA at 1-800-US NOTARY (1-800-876-6827) if you have any questions during this process.
    • Order your Complete Notary Supply Package – which includes your State-required Notary Bond.*
    • Call 1-800-US NOTARY (1-800-876-6827) to confirm the details of your order.
    • We will IMMEDIATELY issue your Notary Bond according to the following guidelines:
      New Notaries: The effective date will be indicated as 30 days after your order date.
      Renewing Notaries: The effective date will match the date of your commission renewal.
    • We will mail your activated Notary Bond to you via First Class mail.
    • Submit your Notary application to the AZ Secretary of State WITH your NNA Notary Bond.
