NNA 2014 Highlights: Veterans Converge In Phoenix For Complimentary Notary Training

Vets-resized.jpgMore than 100 veterans attended the NNA’s complimentary training program for former
servicemen and women Monday at NNA 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Notary training — fully funded by the non-profit National Notary Foundation (NNF) — was
offered as a “Thank You” to those who have served our country in the armed forces and to help provide military veterans with helpful job skills as they return
to civilian life.

“This contribution is a small token of our gratitude for their service. We’re proud to participate with other industry leaders in providing a warm welcome home for our servicemen and women,” said NNA President and CEO Thomas Heymann. “We believe veterans bring an inherent level of trust, loyalty, honesty and safety to the table, which makes them a natural fit for serving as a Notary Public.”

For additional coverage of NNA 2014, please see the upcoming August 2014 issue of The National Notary magazine.

Nowhere in our newspapers nor in any Notary Bulletin I have received, have I found any notice of this complimentary meeting. I am a Veteran and would have loved to attend.
