The National Notary Association Remembers Michael Robinson

Michael RobinsonThe National Notary Association lost a dedicated leader and a good friend with the passing of Director of External Communications Michael Robinson, who lost his years-long battle with cancer on January 20. He was 50.

“Michael was a valuable leader, a master of relationships and a good friend of the Association,” said CEO Marc Reiser. “He made tremendous progress in expanding the NNA’s leadership and influence across the nation. He was a good man who gave his all to America’s Notaries. He will be missed.”

In his role, Michael was engaged with several influential groups, and he led the 2010 publicity launch of the NNA’s first mass-market book, Why Coolidge Matters: How Civility in Politics Can Bring a Nation Together.

Robinson came to the NNA in 2009 following a successful career as a chief executive officer and a strategic communications executive. He was regarded as an influential member of business communities in several states, and had appeared as an industry commentator on CNBC, CNN, MSNBC and Fox News. Born and raised in New Hampshire, Robinson earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
