NNA’s Eagle Honored As A ‘Chief Financial Officer Of The Year’
Jane Eagle, the National Notary Association’s Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has been named a 2009 “Chief Financial Officer of the Year” by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal. She was honored by more than 500 business professionals at a luncheon at the Warner Center Marriott Hotel in Woodland Hills, California last month.
In recognizing Eagle, the selection committee noted her leadership in keeping the NNA “alive and well” during challenging economic circumstances. “Jane made a critical difference in helping to keep the NNA on course to serve, support and educate the nation’s Notaries,” said NNA President Milt Valera.
Eagle came to the NNA in 2007 with a strong record of accomplishment. She spent five years at LoanWeb.com as CFO, a position she also held at MetLife Investors, where she rose through the ranks over an 11-year period. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
