Thanksgiving is more than turkey and the feast. It is a time to find reasons to smile and bond with our loved ones. It’s a time for thanking those who have helped make our lives better. The National Notary Association extends a heartfelt thanks to America’s 4.4 million Notaries for all the things they do to help their neighbors and communities.
A case in point occurred in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy when two New Jersey Notaries stayed up all night to notarize absentee ballots for out-of-state first responders. That is just one of countless selfless acts performed by Notaries every day.
All over the country, you pitch in, answering late-night phone calls, overcoming obstacles, and organizing community service projects that go far beyond your notarial duties. For the public service you provide on a daily basis, we at the NNA say “thank you” for allowing us to serve you as you serve America.
