NNA Conference Workshops Keep Notary Employees Protected And Stress-Free

Amid a changing landscape of liability and compliance issues, Notaries need the right training and confidence to mitigate risks — particularly negligence and unethical or illegal requests from bosses or signers. With this in mind, the NNA specifically designed a series of Conference 2011 workshops to help Notary-employees thrive in a worry-free workplace.

This year’s attendees will be able to participate in a variety of workshops that will help ensure their notarizations are ethical, compliant with state law, and protected against liability. Workshops such as “Trusted Notary for Employees,” will cover unusual notarizations, safe use of tools and other essentials for notarizing at work, while “Liability and Ethics” is geared toward strengthening workplace practices and policies.

In addition to these courses tailored for employees, there are also workshops tailored to managers and supervisors, including “The Notary Supervisor: Role and Responsibilities” and “Sorry, Boss, No Can Do!” Corporations will also benefit from reports on the latest Notary issues and trends during the annual “State of the Notary Public Office” address as well as several other professional workshops for Notaries working in fields such as loan document signings, law, healthcare or financial and corporate services.

The NNAs 33rd Annual Conference will be held in Las Vegas, May 22-26 at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino. Please visit the NNA’s Conference 2011 Web site for more information on benefits to Notaries and their employers — and to register.
