Obtain Your Required Bond, Embosser and Supplies

Complete Your Required Application

Download and complete your District of Columbia Notary Public application. Mail your application, letter of request, along with the fee, to the Office of the Secretary.

3.

Become a D.C. Notary Public

When you receive your official bond and seal embosser, email your Bond Form to bonds@nationalnotary.org immediately after you receive your Appointment Notice and Bond Form. Complete the process of becoming a D.C. Notary by following the directions provided by the D.C. Office of the Secretary.
