Obtain Your Required Bond, Embosser and Supplies

The NNA will provide everything you need to become a Notary in D.C., including your Notary bond, official seal Embosser, journal and supplies.

2.

Complete Your D.C. Notary Application

To become a Notary in D.C., download your application here and forward it to the Office of the Secretary.

3.

Become a D.C. Notary Public

When you receive your official bond and seal embosser, email your Bond Form to bonds@nationalnotary.org immediately after you receive your Appointment Notice and Bond Form. Complete the process of becoming a D.C. Notary by following the directions provided by the D.C. Office of the Secretary.
