The Notary of the Year Award is bestowed upon an outstanding individual who sets a level of ethical and professional conduct that all Notaries can emulate and admire. The recipient, chosen by the NNA's Notary of the Year Selection Committee, truly sets an example by a commitment to excellence — perhaps working to enact a needed Notary law or serving the disabled. The March Fong Eu Achievement Award is given annually to the individual who, in the judgment of the Association's Executive Committee, has done the most to improve the standards, image and quality of the office of Notary Public. In addition to receiving a handsome, engraved trophy, the Notary of the Year is profiled in the March edition of The National Notary magazine and honored at the NNA's annual Conference. In addition, the Notary of the Year receives an expense-paid trip to the Conference. Similarly, the recipient of the March Fong Eu Achievement Award also receives an expense-paid trip and is recognized at the NNA's annual Conference as well as The National Notary magazine.
